Meditation stills the mind.
When your mind is still, the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) is able to restore the body and heal the battle scars of life – allowing ourselves space just to “be”, without expectation or effort.
This Meditation course consists of 6 weekly sessions of 60 minutes, allowing you time between each class to practice newly discovered techniques at home.
Ideal for introducing you to the world of meditation in a very clear and simple format with time for practice and to ask questions.
It requires some courage and discipline as with each session you will be trained to further focus your mind skillfully.
You are encouraged to use “downtime” to practice stillness on your own. The more we practice, the more proficient we become.
Meditation sessions will teach you to:
- Lead a conscious life
- Focus the mind
- Improve sleep
- Create self awareness
- Reduce stress by creating emotional calmness and mental clarity
- Develop intuition as well as a sense of purpose
Chairs will be provided for those who require one.
Students who complete this Meditation course are qualified to join our regular FREE full moon group meditation sessions held each term.
FREE Group Meditation sessions are available to all students that have completed this course.
